End of Year lists
End of year top 10 lists grow more ridiculous to me every year. Quantifying the quality of music is suspect anyway, because what are we comparing? These questions have been asked before. Winston-Salem bar/venue staple Ziggy’s is being demolished today. Word is that the owner is looking for a new location but nothing has been secured. Hopefully a move downtown might signal a new direction with the performances. Wake has officially ousted an adult book store, a strip club, the bar BrewHaHas, and Ziggy’s from the Baity Street area.

Late Night TV Findings
Hitchcock’s Vertigo is on HDNET movies coming up in a few minutes. This is a movie that everyone loves, but I have never really gotten into. This will be my third of fourth time watching and I’m really gonna try. I predict that I will remain a sucker for Rear Window and mildly enjoy Vertigo. Rope is also a good Hitchcock movie. The Birds, which I am currently watching the ending...
Wake Forest men’s soccer team won the national championship today. This means of the three things I want the sport program to do (football beat FSU, basketball win a national championship, and soccer win a national championship), Wake has done 2/3 in the last couple years.
